SOS Sahel - Africa Days
For over 45 years, SOS SAHEL has been a vital force in helping Sahelian communities overcome hunger and poverty, addressing the region’s unique challenges. In preparation for their annual Africa Days event, they enlisted our expertise to elevate the event’s reach and impact through comprehensive social media coverage and targeted paid advertising. With a short lead time, we crafted a dynamic, cross-platform strategy to boost awareness, drive ticket sales, and keep engagement strong throughout the event.
Our approach was to spotlight SOS SAHEL’s mission and make the Africa Days event memorable. We started with pre-event informational posts on key topics and speakers to create anticipation. On the ground, our team captured videos, interviews, and event highlights, weaving together a compelling narrative about SOS SAHEL’s work. In coordination with SOS SAHEL representatives, we ensured that each post stayed true to their goals, emphasizing the importance of the initiatives being discussed.
The campaign results were outstanding. Our strategy reached 278,885 people and generated 3,767 website visits, contributing to a sold-out Gala event. Across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, we achieved substantial engagement: Instagram content reached 76,998 accounts with significant non-follower exposure, while targeted ads brought in 48K impressions from just one ad, ultimately helping to increase followers by 799. Facebook content reached 207.2K accounts, generating 7.7K interactions and 3K link clicks, while LinkedIn saw a 744% growth in reactions and added 608 new followers. Together, these results underscored the effectiveness of our strategy in amplifying SOS SAHEL’s message, building connections, and creating lasting impact.
